Thomas Jordan new Swiss bank chief

The Swiss central bank's interim president Thomas Jordan was on Wednesday confirmed as the bank's new chief. "At its meeting of April 18, the Swiss Federal Council appointed Thomas Jordan to be the new Chairman of the Governing Board of the Swiss National Bank," an SNB statement said.
