IDB finances Egyptian projects worth $424.8M

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) will finance two projects in Egypt worth USD 424.6 million.
The funds will go to the development of Sharm el-Sheikh Airport and Assuit refinery.
The announcement came during the meeting of the IDB's board in the Red Sea city of Jeddah, as it discussed channeling a new tranche worth $987 millions for development projects in the IDB's member states.
