Financial institutions to close on January 1st

Qatar Central Bank (QCB) announced on Sunday that all financial institutions operating in Qatar, including banks, investment and finance companies as well as exchange companies, will be closed to the public on Tuesday, the 1st of January, 2013. The financial institutions will be closed to finalize preparation of the closing accounts for fiscal year 2012, QCB said, adding that they will reopen on Wednesday, the 2nd of January, 2013. (QNA)
