CBE sells US dollar to banks at 8.78 pounds

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) stabilized the exchange rate of the US dollar sold to banks at 8.78 pounds.
The CBE offered 120 million dollars in an auction to banks on Tuesday, bankers said.
The exchange rate of the US dollar in banks stood at 8.88 pounds.
