CBE fixes dollar exchange rate in Tuesday auction at EGP 8.78

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) set the dollar exchange rate at 8.78 pounds during an auction on Tuesday.
At banks the dollar exchange rate was fixed at 8.88 pounds for clients, a number of bankers told MENA.
Earlier in the day, the CBE auctioned 120 million dollars to secure clients' need of hard currency to import basic and strategic goods
