CBB Treasury Bills Bahraini by 182%

The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announces that this week’s BD 45 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been oversubscribed by 182%.
The bills, carrying a maturity of 91 days, are issued by the CBB, on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The issue date of the bills is 20th August 2014 and the maturity date is 19th November 2014.
The weighted average rate of interest is 0.67%, compared to 0.66%, for the previous issue on 11th August 2014.
The approximate average price for the issue was 99.832% with the lowest accepted price being 99.823%.
This is issue No. 1509 (ISIN BH0005553910) of Government Treasury Bills. With this, the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills is BD 1.230 billion.
