Banque Misr issues 15% interest deposit certificate

Banque Misr on Monday issued a new Egyptian pound deposit certificate with an interest of 15 percent, the highest rate in Egypt, in return for foreign currency.
The interest is fixed over the life of the certificate, according to a statement by the bank.
The certificate will be issued in 5,00 pounds and its multiples with no maximum for only individuals in Egypt or abroad, it said.
