Banks to be closed on January 1 in Egypt

The Central Bank of Egypt announced Wednesday that all banks working in Egypt will be off on January 1, 2015 due to the end the 2013/14 fiscal year on December 31, 2014.
Work will be resumed on Sunday, January 4, 2015, said the CBE in a statement Wednesday.
