Hilal Bank on wheels in UAE's Capital

Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs, attended the launch of the first environment-friendly mobile Hilal Bank ‘Aqrab’ on Tuesday. This unique advanced concept of 100 per cent electric empowered bus mobile, is the first fleet of banking buses expected to be deployed by Hilal Bank in various parts of the capital to provide fast personal banking services in a way that reflects the initiative launched by Hilal Bank ‘Aqrab’, which in English means the ‘closest’. The initiative will be fully activated on Wednesday with buses deployed around Abu Dhabi to provide high-level banking services to the bank’s clients.Ahmed Atiq Al Mazrouei, chairman of the board of Hilal Bank, said the fleet is significant being the first environmentally safer facility in the world, which provides mobile banking services to customers. “This project will be a source of inspiration for other companies in Abu Dhabi and the UAE to adopt more sustainable, safer environmental strategies.” from khaleej times.
