The National Bank of Bahrain CEO and Director Mr. Abdulrazak Al Qassim affirmed NBB will continue its support of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP) at the Platinum sponsorship level, praising the efforts of HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to develop educational and training programs aimed at youth and human resource development.
He also affirmed NBB’s keenness to support educational and developmental initiatives, stating that NBB was one of the first organizations to join as a sponsor of the CPISP at the launch of its endowment fund in 2006
Al Qassim made these remarks during a meeting at NBB headquarters, where he received Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince and Board Member and Head of the Financial and Administrative Committee of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP) Sh. Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, and presented him with a check for BD 200,000 marking NBB’s first payment of its new BD 1 million pledge to the Program.
Sh. Mohammed thanked NBB for its support and ongoing cooperation with Program, affirming that NBB is one of the Program’s main Platinum sponsors. He also affirmed the importance of the Sponsors’ role in supporting the Program in achieving its objectives, which include providing the best educational opportunities to outstanding Bahraini students and preparing them for the job market at an international level so that they can contribute to Bahrain’s overall development.
Also present were CPISP Director Dr. Cynthia Gessling, NBB Board Secretary Mr. Naser Mohammed Naser, CPISP Head of Administrative, Financial, and Student Affairs Ms. Shatha Ahmed Ali, and CPISP Head of PR and Media Ms. Esmat Ahmed.
