
Under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) and with the strategic partnership of Tamkeen, Bahrain Institute of Banking and Financial Studies (BIBF) will launch its first cybersecurity forum/exhibition entitled "Bahrain Cybersecurity Forum/Expo 2017".
The Forum and Expo is a unique concept in the region that brings in international leading experts to maximize the learning experience of attendees on the critical topic of Cyber Security.
The event will run for three days on May 16-18.
The BIBF’s Head of Operations, IT and Project Management, Ahmed Naeemi, said: "With Cyber-attacks being on the rise, Cyber Security has now become a priority for many organizations in order to protect their data and information. There is a vital need for organizations to be equipped with the latest knowledge and trends to learn the know-how of managing Cyber Security threats."
"We realize how important it has become to stay up-to-date in the critical topic of Cyber Security. We are keen to enable the national and regional human capital with the necessary skills set to maintain and upgrade IT systems to protect data in all business aspects," he added.
By hosting the best international professionals in the field of cyber security, the BIBF aims to enrich human capital knowledge and capability in the field of Cyber Security by providing interactive learning workshops and training sessions in addition to exhibiting the latest relevant technological trends.
In addition to leading international companies in the field of cyber security, the Forum and Exhibition will be bringing in top-notch speakers, trainers and companies such as NGN, Vauban, GRC360 and many more.
The Expo will be held under the theme "Explore – Engage – Secure" where participants will Explore the latest technological trends, Engage with international experts and Secure their business data.
