The "Hand Made" exhibition was created to provide a showcase for local women to display their home made goods, while also offering professional advice on how to develop and grow a home-based enterprise. Maryam Al Shorafa, Head of Ladies Banking, Ajman Bank, said: "Ajman Bank is fully committed to play a key role in supporting the next generation of female entrepreneurs in the UAE. Emirati women are well educated and ambitious, so the trend over recent years of increasing levels of women entrepreneurship is set to continue over the long-term." Mahra has been designed by Ajman Bank to meet the professional requirements and lifestyle needs of women across the UAE.
