New Delhi - Agencies
Panasonic India has expanded its Toughbook range of rugged computing devices with two new products - the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A1 tablet and CF-AX2 ultrabook. The Panasonic Toughpad is a purpose-built Android-powered tablet, which the company claims is designed with enterprise-class security, long product life, and advanced device management in mind. The Toughbook range of devices are designed to work under harsh conditions, where your typical computing devices may fail. The Toughpad FZ-A1 tablet targetted at healthcare, pharmaceutical and construction companies. Panasonic also unveiled the CF-AX2 ultrabook targeted at enterprise users on-the-go. Toughpad FZ-A1 features a dual-core processor with a dedicated security processor core, that makes it ideal for use in secure environments. Commenting on the features of the Toughpad, Gunjan Sachdev, GM & National Business Head, Panasonic Toughbook India, said: “As we see an increase in uptake of tablet-form mobile computing devices in Asia, we want to ensure that we apply our market knowledge as well as our deep store of intellectual property, engineering and R&D resources as the leader in the ruggedised mobile computing space.”
