US should beware of Chinese cyber warfare

Chinese cyber warfare may pose a real threat to US military in the case of a conflict, the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission. The 136-page report says China's military is increasingly focusing on "information confrontation." It also says that Chinese commercial firms significantly contribute to military research and technology. "Chinese capabilities in computer network operations have advanced sufficiently to pose genuine risk to US military operations in the event of a conflict," the report concludes.
