SK Telecom to launch wider bandwidth LTE mobile network next year

SK Telecom Co., South Korea's leading mobile carrier, said Thursday that it plans to deploy a mobile network service in the country next year that is three times faster than the current LTE service. SK Telecom successfully demonstrated the upgraded LTE-A service by aggregating 20MHz bandwidth in 1.8GHz band and 10MHz bandwidth in 800MHz band.
