The Russian Defense Ministry has never given up plans to purchase MiG-35 aircraft. The deliveries are due to start in 2015-2016, Russian Minister of Industry and Commerce Denis Manturov told journalists on Saturday, August 24. “The Defense Ministry has not given up plans to buy MiG-35 aircraft. The purchase will take place in parameters set by the State Arms Procurement Program,” Manturov said. He added that a relevant contract might be concluded at the MAKS-2013 air show. Manturov said that terms of deliveries remained the only problem at the moment because plants were loaded with orders. According to him, the deliveries could start in 2015-2016.
