Russia's United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) plans to double output by 2015 which will be worth 350 billion rubles, UAC President Mikhail Pogosyan told a news conference in the town of Zhukovsky, Moscow region, on Wednesday. "By 2020, output will exceed 600 billion rubles, and by 2025, the corporation's production will be worth 800 billion rubles, which is equivalent to 300 aircrafts, including 150 civil jets," Pogosyan said. A diversified policy will enable Russia to become a global leader in aircraft production. To meet these targets, it is necessary to increase labor productivity and wages, the UAC president said. At present, wages at a majority of UAC companies are slightly above the regional average. It is 15% to 20%higher at the enterprises in Irkutsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur. "Our task is to have similar figures at other companies," Pogosyan said. "We plan to increase UAC's average monthly wages to more than 40,000 rubles by 2015. At leading UAC companies, they might reach 60,000 to 70,000 rubles."
