Qatar Professional Women’s Network (QPWN), Qatar’s first informal networking organisation for professional women, has announced the launch of its exclusive new website that will enable women to access its leading services more easily. Established in February 2010 to provide networking opportunities for professional Qatari and expatriate women, QPWN provides support and development to women in Qatar and contributes to the sustainability of the local community. The focus of the group is to connect its members, share professional capabilities and break down cultural barriers. Mentoring is one of the group’s core focuses, and partners highly qualified and experienced professional women with university students or young women. The website will enable these initiatives to grow, allowing interaction between users and offering detailed event and program information. The non-profit group credits its web development company, b.media, for not only creating a leading online platform by which members can enhance their current professional skills but for providing complimentary services to QPWN. To celebrate the launch of QPWN’s exclusive new website, its monthly networking event will take place St. Regis Doha on September 24.
