Italian police unearthed a high-tech spy hub in central Naples Thursday used by a mafia group affiliated with the Abete-Abbinante-Notturno clan. Three monitors together with a wireless infrared webcam were found in an apartment in the notorious drug-peddling district of Scampia. An Xbox video-game console was also found nearby, evidently to allow those on lookout duty to while away the quieter hours. Another infrared camera and an acoustic remote-operated alarm system was found in another nearby apartment. Police also scoured the sewer network in Scampia Thursday, in search of drugs and arms belonging to the local Camorra mafia.
