Prime Minister Sherif Ismail inaugurated on Sunday the technological development center in Aswan governorate.

This came during his visit to Aswan as he was accompanied by the ministers of irrigation, antiquities, local development and culture as well as Aswan Governor General Magdi Hegazy.

During the ceremony, the Egyptian Premier was briefed on services of the center that aims to upgrade the efficiency of the state administrative apparatus and get rid of the conventional digital systems used by the Ministry of Planning.

This will be done in collaboration with the US Agency for International Development (USAID) that funds projects to develop citizen service centers.

The center applies the single window system to separate the service provider from the citizen that will help create a business environment free of any forms of financial and administrative corruption.

The center comprises 20 windows, 15 of which for citizens, two for people with special needs, two for cashier and one for inquiries.

The aim behind these technological centers nationwide is to qualifying a group of workers to deal with citizens professionally and providing high-quality services for citizens quickly by using the latest technological techniques.
