
Pakistan’s Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday said that Pakistan and United States have agreed to hold dialogue on the cooperation in civil nuclear technology. The Pakistan’s Finance Minister met with American trade delegation headed by Elizabeth Little in Islamabad today, according to Pakistan’s (Dunya News). Later, the minister told media that the US delegation has expressed willingness to invest in bio-energy sector in Pakistan to overcome power crisis. He said transfer of technology is major impediment in the way of bilateral cooperation between both countries. Ishaq Dar said Pakistan is an attractive country for investment. He said resolving energy crisis of the country is PML-N government’s first priority. On the occasion, Elizabeth Little said that United State will enhance cooperation with Pakistan to boost power generation through wind, bio-gas and through alternative ways.
