A spokesman for the New York City Police Department said that they were seeking a subpoena to identify a person responsible for tweeting a message deemed to be an online threat against police officers. The New Post and Daily News reported a message supposedly posted by an Occupy Wall Street protester saying killing a cop or two would not make a difference. The message was reportedly posted at 11:40 pm Saturday, after police dispersed a crowd of Occupy Wall Street demonstrators gathered in and around Zuccotti Park to mark the six-month anniversary of the movement. Authorities say 73 people were detained as police broke up the crowd.
