
H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority, on Wednesday at his Zabeel Majlis, received Kevin Turner, Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft, and reviewed with him prospects of joint cooperation. Sheikh Maktoum commended Microsoft's creative programming concepts in areas of education, health, communications and smart government. Sheikh Maktoum said that high standards of co-operation between the Authority in particular and the Government of Dubai in general and the international computer company has promoted the "culture of internet" in the U.A.E. and the region.
