Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari opened here yesterday the 1st Taibah University International Conference For Computing and Information Technology at the headquarters of the University. Addressing the ceremony, the University's Rector, Dr. Mansour bin Mohammed Al-Nuzhah, expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for patronizing the Conference and his continuing support for higher education through the expansion of opening universities all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He noted that SR 5.7 billion have been allocated for the University's projects over the past years, indicating that the Minister of Higher Education signed before a few weeks a project for the establishment of a university hospital with a capacity of 400 beds amounting to SR 500 million.
