Sure, Google's new augmented reality glasses are nothing but prototypes, but that doesn't make us any less excited (nervous, ambivalent?) about what could be the next major breakthrough in AR tech. Today, Google gave the rumors a name, "Google Glass," and showed off a GG prototype, which looks 50% like the future, and 50% like an alloy unibrow. But Google didn't stop at a handful of dorky stock photos, instead showing off a video of a man using Google Glass throughout his day.Google is soliciting reactions and ideas for these space age specs, so if you have an idea how you'd use these in everyday use, go tell Google. Whether these will function even remotely close to their intended purpose is yet to be... seen. So what do you think? Would you ever wear these?
