Apple is looking for an environmental program manager for its growing operations in China, according to its help-wanted ads on LinkedIn. The Wall Street Journal said Friday the opening for an "environmental affairs program manager" at its main office in Beijing stood out among the other more-than-200 openings because of recent public allegations about the practices of some of Apple's Chinese suppliers. The posted job description called for the new hire to "ensure that Apple's products and processes meet and surpass regional and national environmental regulatory requirements." The scope of Apple's employment solicitations was also seen as a sign the U.S. tech giant was not backing away from its operations in China and its expansion into the domestic market. The company was also seeking security specialists and a large number of retail store employees, The Journal said.
