Yemen, Oxfam discuss enhancing women's role in political, economic life

President Adviser for Women's Affairs Faiqah al-Sayeddiscussed here on Monday with Regional Director for Middle East, Eastern Europe,Commonwealth of Independent States at Oxfam Olga Ghazaryan means to enlargegender and women's participation in political and economic life.The two sides also discussed enhancing the role of the Yemeni women in variousfields, in particular economy and policy, and the support that could be provided inthis regard.Al-Sayed praised the contributions of Oxfam in supporting women's activities inYemen through carrying out a number of rehabilitation and awareness programs.For her part, Ghazaryan assured that the Oxfam is keen to continue its support forthe community organizations concerned with gender mergence in the political andeconomic life in Yemen.
