A woman on a flight from Saudi Arabia to the Philippines gave birth to a girl while the plane was passing over India. Salima Juddaiman, who gave her age as 27 but bore a passport saying her age is 30, was aboard Saudi Airlines flight SV872 to vacation in her native Isabela, Philippines, while working as a childcare provider in Saudi Arabia when she began feeling labor pains, InterAksyon.com reported Wednesday. Juddaiman gave birth to a healthy girl with the help of a Saudi nurse who was also on the flight. Dr. Maria Theresa Azores, a physician at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, Philippines, said the child appeared healthy and seemed to have been born full term, rather than a month early as Juddaiman believed. Juddaiman named the baby, her second child, Victoria.
