Preparations are in full swing to inaugurate the Women Empowerment Centre. Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women will patronize the opening ceremony in November. Supreme Council for Women (SCW) assistant secretary-general Dhawiya Al-Alawi today held a meeting with Bahrain Development Bank (BDB) delegation led by Deputy General Manager Shaikh Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa. The two sides discussed the needs of the centre, stressing the need to promote the new facility in the media prior to its official opening. HRH Princess Sabeeka laid the foundation stone of the Women Empowerment Centre on February 22, 2010.
