
The University of Bahrain (UoB)'s President Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi emphasised the importance of women's empowerment in the University and women's representation in all of the UoB's committees, citing the creation of the University's Equal Opportunity Unit (EOU) with support from the Civil Service Bureau (CSB), considering women as an essential factor in the University's development, and praising the huge efforts exerted by the committee assigned to compile the "UoB Women's Dossier".
The University won the fourth edition of the Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for Women Empowerment in the Private Sector.
Dr. Janahi recently received the chairperson and members of the University's Women Empowerment Dossier's Committee at the Sakhir campus and thanked them, commending the committee's role in winning the first position.
