Turkish businesswoman to receive honorary doctorate from a Hong Kong university

Hong Kong Polytechnic University will present an honorary doctorate to Turkish businesswoman and the head of Sabanci University's board of trustees Guler Sabanci. According to a statement by Sabanci University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University was accepted as a global leader of industry-university cooperation all over the world, and also was distinguished with researches, innovation and technology. The statement said that Hong Kong Polytechnic University decided to present honorary doctorate to Guler Sabanci, adding, "The title will be presented in October in Hong Kong with a ceremony to be participated by President of Hong Kong Polytechnic University Prof. Timothy W. Tong."
