Ministry of Culture and Syria Charity Women Group held a ceremony at the Arab Cultural Center in Damascus to honor the martyrs' mothers and to express solidarity with them. "We are mothers and daughters of the army members who defend the homeland … we believe that happiness lies in giving, therefore, we help in building a brilliant future of our homeland under the slogan /Syria is Always Well/,", Hasana Mohammad from the group said. For her part, mother of the Martyr Anzor Abaza, expressed pride in the martyrdom of her son, indicating that the martyrs sacrificed themselves to defend Syria . A documentary film on the Syrian martyrs was screened at the end of the honoring ceremony.
