The Israeli occupation authorities released the Golan prisoner Fidaa Nayef al-Wali from the occupied village of Majdal Shams after one-year imprisonment. Al-Wali's family was surprised by the release decision which came late Monday to prevent any national reception ceremonies for the liberated prisoner. Yet, a number of al-Wali's family members and friends gathered to receive and congratulate him. The so-called Israeli Magistrates' Court in al-Nasra issued a ruling sentencing al-Wali to one year in jail on the backdrop of the latest Naksa and Nakba events which took place opposite to Majdal Shams.
