
Labour Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for Labor Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Ali Al-Ansari, highlighted the Labour Ministry's keenness to empower and engage women in human development programmes and other programmes target job seekers, as women represent a vital pillar in the development process taking place in Bahrain. Dr. Al-Ansari today met the Joint Committee between the Labour Ministry and Supreme Council for Women (SCW), led by SCW Training and Development Advisor, Bahija Al-Daylami. He hailed the SCW's supportive efforts, led by HRH Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King and SCW's President, for empowering Bahraini women in all fields. He wished the Joint Committee success to contribute to achieve aspirations of Bahraini women. Advisor Al-Dailami stressed enhancing coordination to promote the recruitment of female job seekers in the private sector, to develop skills necessary to meet private sector requirements, to address challenges faced by Bahraini women in the labour market and to support women's participation in various work and production fields
