Israeli forces assaulted a mentally disabled woman North of Hebron, locals said. Muhammad Ayad Awad, spokesman of a local committee against settlements, told Ma'an that a large force of Israeli soldiers raided the home of Khalil Mahmoud Abu Dayya in Beit Ummar on Friday. His sister Nabila, who is mentally disabled, tried to prevent the soldiers from entering the property. The soldiers then attacked her, beating and kicking her, before throwing a stun grenade into the house. Khalil Abu Dayya tried to explain to the soldiers that she was disabled, but they refused to listen and continued to assault her. The Israeli troops said they were raiding the home because a suspicious fire had broken out in a nearby settlement.
