
The first confirmed victim of the Washington mudslide has been identified as 45-year-old Christina Jefferds. Jefferds was babysitting her infant granddaughter when the mudslide struck. Coroners ruled that she officially died of blunt force injuries. Jefferds was looking after her 4-month-old granddaughter while her daughter was attending a yoga class and making a trip to Costco. Authorities called the daughter, Natasha Huestis, after the disaster occurred and she could only ask, "Where's my mother? Where's my baby?" Searchers are still looking for their baby.
