
Bahrain is set to host a key workshop on Arab women’s economic rights next month. The Arab Parliament members approved the event, hailing Bahrain’s efforts to promote Bahrain’s economic empowerment. The Arab delegations paid tribute to Bahrain as they attended the meeting of the subcommittee in charge of preparing the parliamentary conference on Arab women’s causes. Shura Council 2nd Deputy President Dr. Bahiya Jawad Al-Jishi attended the meeting, stressing the importance of joint work to come out with viable decisions, policies and strategies that guarantee women’s rights. Experts, specialists, local and Arab organisations will attend the workshop in Bahrain which will debate key women’s issue including property, work, inheritance and business management.
