
A road accident in South Waziristan tribal region of northern Pakistan bordering Afghanistan killed at least six security men on Monday. According to security officials, six personnel of Frontier Corps (FC) were killed as their vehicle fell into a ravine negotiating a sharp turn while coming from Tank area towards the Gomal Zam dam. The dead bodies were retrieved from the site of the incident and transported to the near hospital. The political administration of the tribal area has also confirmed that the FC vehicle skidded and plunged into ravine while taking a turn, killing all six FC personnel on board. Earlier, four security men were killed while twelve others were wounded as a vehicle overturned in the Baka Khel area of Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday. sbk.asa
