The Director General of Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, accompanied by a delegation from SPA officials, paid here today a visit to Naif Arab University for Security Sciences. Upon arrival at the venue, they were received by Vice-President of the University, Dr Jamaan Rashid bin Rakoush, who briefed them on the University's objectives and activities. During the visit, SPA delegation met with the University's President, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Saqr Al-Ghamdi, who presented to them an explanation on the University's efforts to achieve security with its comprehensive concept at regional and international arenas and its achievements in the issues of global concern. They also discussed cooperation between the University and the Agency in the fields of common interest. Then, the delegation toured the university facilities including Higher Education Faculty, the Faculty of Forensic Sciences, and Permanent Exhibitions comprising of Exhibition of Public Relations and Information, Exhibition of Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, Exhibition of Arms, and other facilities. The delegation listened to a detailed explanation on the activities carried out to develop Arab security systems, to upgrade their efficiency, and to provide them with the latest developments in the field of security sciences. At the end of the visit, the Director General of Saudi Press Agency expressed his great admiration over what he has seen at this scientific edifice of Arab modern techniques, advanced methods, and scientific expertise making the University as unique and distinguished in the field of its specialization at regional and international arenas. Commemorative gifts were also exchanged.
