Group Sonelgaz and "Houari Boumediène" University of Sciences and Technology (USTHB) plan to launch, next season a program of doctoral courses in renewable energies, said Thursday the USTHB. The two parties should jointly define and launch themes of research, the University said in a release. They also appointed a working group with the task of formulating proposals for "training in industrial projects management." During a working session held last Tuesday, Sonelgaz and ’’Houari Boumediene’’ University have decided to extend their partnership agreement, after having expressed their "satisfaction with the implementation of this partnership in the areas of training and research." "These actions reinforce Sonelgaz human resources, make closer the university and the business world and even allowed to associate Algerian skills established abroad," the statement said. In addition, this partnership helped to launch an industry of solar panels by training engineers and managers of Sonelgaz subsidiaries, and the establishment of the master in renewable energy (solar option) the first class will graduate next June.
