The Envoy of the Quartet Committee to the Middle East, Tony Blair, visited the Kingdom of Bahrain's school in Tel Al-Hua in Gaza Strip.
The intermediate school for boys has been transformed into a shelter for Palestinian families who lost their homes as a result of the brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip last summer. The school accommodates displaced Palestinian families from Al-Shujaiya neighbourhood.
During his visit, Blair closely listened to those displaced talk about their suffering and problems and promised to convey their demands to expedite the reconstruction process.
The four-storey school building serves more than 4,000 students in 52 classrooms, provided with teaching and learning equipment, library, playground, garden, science laboratories, computers and also includes a special classroom for students with difficulty in learning and also includes useful instruments for students with special needs.
