The Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdulla bin Abdul Malik Al-Shaikh said the "exemplary" cooperation between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in all fields, especially in the educational field, reflects the long-standing solid fraternal relations bonding the two kingdoms and their peoples, in light of the their leaderships' directives.
He was speaking during a reception ceremony held by the Cultural Office at the Saudi Embassy here in honour of new Saudi educational supervisors and teachers in Bahrain, in the presence of the Education Ministry's Undersecretary for Educational Affairs and Curriculum Dr. Abdulla bin Yussif Al-Mutawa, the Saudi Cultural Attaché Turki bin Fahad Al-Ayyar and a number of officials from the two countries.
The Ambassador congratulated the new teachers on the trust bestowed upon them to represent their country in Bahrain, urging them to spare no effort to assume their duties in the best way.
He extended sincere thanks and gratitude to the leaderships of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia for their constant support to the citizens, in general, and students and teachers, in particular.
He also thanked the Ministries of Education in both countries and the Saudi Cultural Office here for their efforts in this regard.
Dr. Al-Mutawa conveyed to the Ambassador and new Saudi teachers greetings and best wishes from the Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi.
He lauded the solid deep-rooted Bahraini-Saudi relations, and highlighted the cultural relations bonding the two kingdoms throughout history.
Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Khuraiji, who responsible for Saudi teachers in Bahrain, also spoke during the ceremony. He urged teachers to do their utmost and assume their duties in a way that reflects the outstanding bilateral relations.
He expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Bahrain –King, government, people and education leadership, for the support allocated for Saudi teachers in Bahrain, paying similar tribute to Dr. Al-Mutawa and Dr. Turki bin fahad Al-Ayyar for their efforts in this regard.
He also honoured the Saudi Ambassador and Dr. Al-Mutawa on behalf of the new Saudi educational supervisors and teachers.
