Minister of Education Abd al-Razaq al-Ashwal of Yemen visited northwestern Duzce province wtih a delegation on Monday. Al-Ashwal met with Duzce Governor Ali Ihsan Su and said, "Yemen wishes to make use of Turkey's experiences as it is a developed country among Islamic countries and in the world." Reminding Turkey and Yemen had over 400 year-old friendship, al-Ashwal also said, "Yemen wants to revive this friendship. There are Turkish families, friends and traditions in Yemen. Thanks to these ties, we want to make use of Turkey's experiences over national education."
