Ras Al Khaimah - Arabstoday
Nigerian student, Abu Bakr Mohammed Abu Bakr, has found a mathematical strategy to predict results of football matches. The theory has been endorsed by mathematicians at the largest mathematics conference in the world in San Diego, USA. Abu Bakr was sponsored by The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) to attend the conference. Abu Bakr’s theory is entitled “Math Strategies in a Football Game” and will be published shortly as a result of the resounding support from the conference. Abu Bakr said that his theory combined his passion for mathematics and his favourite hobby, football. He said “I did not expect my theory to take me this far but I am thrilled to hear that it will be published.” Vice Chancellor of Aurak, Professor Hassan Hamdan Alalkim confirmed that the university was fully behind Abu Bakr. “The university supports all innovative creators and provides them all types of support,” he noted.
