Turkish president receives honorary doctorate in Turkmenistan

Turkish President Abullah Gul on Thursday was presented an honorary doctorate by the State Institute of Turkmenistan Economics and Public Administration. Gul said he was honored, adding, "Our countries where we have lived together throughout history have always been the symbol of unity, peace and brotherhood." Gul hailed Turkmenistan for resuming its cooperation with Turkey preminenty. Rector of the State Institute of Turkmenistan Economics and Public Administration,Purli Agamuradov said Turkmenistan aimed to improve cooperation with Turkey. President Gul has also exerted efforts to improve the collaboration  between the two countries, which is very important to us, said Agamuradov. President Gul also attended a dinner hosted in his honor by his counterpart Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov.
