The Council of Ministers, chaired by the President of the Republic, Field marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has approved a report on the preparations for launching the Secondary School examinations for the year 2013. Around 434, 080 students will sit for the examinations at 2650 centers in Sudan and 17 centers abroad. The report was presented by the Minister of Education, Suad Abdul-Raziq. In a press statement after the Cabinet meeting, the spokesman of the Council of Ministers, said that the students this year will sit for only seven subjects, indicating that the Minister of Interior has affirmed completion of the procedure for securing the examinations and the marking centers. The Council of Ministers has appreciated the Ministry of Education and the role being played by teachers in preserving the distinguished level of the Sudanese Certificate. He announced that the Council of Ministers has agreed to increasing the rewards for the teachers participating in the marking of the Sudanese Certificate for the year 2013 by 30%.
