Qatar expat schools change timings to avoid scorching heat

The sudden rise in temperature levels in Qatar has prompted some expatriate schools to change their opening hours. Two Indian schools - The DPS Modern Indian School and the Birla Public School - have already issued notices announcing the decision, Qatari daily The Peninsula reported. "As mercury is soaring, the school authorities have decided to reduce the working time by one hour," the DPS said in a message posted on its website and addressed to the parents. from / Gulf News
