Katamine briefed on difficulties facing private school teachers

A delegation from the Jordan Teachers Association (JTA) on Wednesday met with Labour Minister Nidal Katamine and discussed challenges facing teachers in the private sector, such as not receiving their salaries on time and facing arbitrary dismissal. The JTA delegates called for holding violating schools accountable. The two sides agreed to task a representative from the ministry to follow up on teachers’ issues. Source: Petra
