Al Zayani Highlights Gulf Press Role

Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani underlined the important and effective role that Gulf press plays in strengthening the joint GCC action and highlighting the achievements of the GCC in all fields.
Al Zayani referred to the high ranking of the Gulf journalism in the regional and Arab media system, its positive practice regarding strengthening the Gulf identity and developing the Gulf correlation.
Al Zayani reflected his views during his meeting with the Chief of the Gulf Press Union Khalid Al Malik.
During the meeting, they reviewed the efforts made by the Gulf Press Union to strengthen the cooperation and coordination between Gulf press entities in addition to ways to develop cooperation between the General Secretariat of the GCC and the Gulf Press Union.
