Al-Watan Printing & Press Establishment announced that it would launch Bahrain award for Youth Novelists. The –24 Hour- contest will be held in November under the auspices of the Deputy President of Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. The contest patron stressed the importance of Al-Watan initiative in providing gifted youth the opportunity to showcase the extent of their talents. He commended the pioneering literary award initiative , the first of its kind in the Arab World. Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa affirmed the need to care for youth in various fields, hailing Bahraini youngsters who have proved their edge and the extent of their knowledge at different international events
